Twin Falls PD have Year Round Drug Drop Box

(KLIX)-If you have some old prescription drugs that you no longer use and want to throw them away, well there’s a place for that. The Twin Falls Police department has installed a year round prescription drug Drop box. If you have old pills you cant use anymore all you have to do is throw it in the box. According to the city improper disposal of prescription drugs can cause harmful health hazards if they are flushed down the toilet. It can also lead to drug abuse. The disposal bin is located in the front lobby of the police station on 356 3^rd Avenue East. The drop box in only for pills and patches. No liquids syringes or other forms of controlled substances are allowed.
