Twin Falls will Use Existing Names for Auger Falls Trails
TWIN FALLS, Id. (KMVT-KSVT) The Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Commission is approving the first step in officially naming 19 bike trails at Auger Falls Park.
For years, those who frequently use the trails have come up with a variety of names. Instead of developing new names, the commission decided it was best to simply adopt what was already there. An Eagle Scout has even been working with the city to create signage for the trails, but needed permission from the city to go forward.
The city council will now consider the commission's recommendation for a final approval. Here’s a list of the names the commission approved on Monday, along with how long each trail is.
