WinCo Issues Recall for Mislabeled Ranch Dressing
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) If you bought WinCo Brand Ranch Dressing recently you might want to check the best by date. The food store announced a recall of it's dressing with the Best By 08/23/17.
The company says the back label is missing the egg allergen declaration on the Winco Fat Free Ranch Dressing. Individuals with severe sensitivity to eggs could face life-threatening allergic reaction if they use the product. WinCo says the product was distributed to a limited number of stores in Idaho, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington. About 460 cases may have been purchased by shoppers with the code date 08/23/17.
The code can be found above the back label on the bottle. No other WinCo Foods products and/or code dates are involved by this voluntary recall. No one has reported being sick by the mislabeled dressing and it is a voluntary. Customers are being asked not to use the product and return it to where they bought it for a refund.
