ASHTON, Idaho (KLIX)-A woman from Island Park who was a passenger in a pickup that rear-ended a semi-truck was killed Friday afternoon near Ashton. According to Idaho State Police, the woman was in a Ford F-150 pickup that was following a semi-truck heading east on U.S. Highway 20. The truck was attempting to turn right onto a county road when it was struck by the pickup. The 82-year-old was killed while the 57-year-old driver of the pickup of Denver, Colorado, was taken to an area hospital, neither had been wearing seat belts. The driver of the truck was not injured. The crash slowed traffic for sometime. ISP is investigating the crash.
