DONNELLY, Idaho (KLIX)-A Boise man died when he tried to pass a car in his pickup on a snow covered road north of Donnelly Monday evening.

According to Idaho State Police, 27-year-old Kenneth Fourtner died at St. Luke's McCall Medical Center after being thrown from his 2004 Toyota Tacoma a little before 8 p.m. on State Highway 55.

State Police said in a statement Fourtner attempted to pass a Mini Cooper headed north when he went off the road and rolled; Fourtner had not been wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the pickup.

The driver of the Mini, Jennifer Sadhana, 59, of McCall, was also taken to the medical center in McCall. The highway was blocked for less than half an hour.
