Burley Vice Principal Arrested for Alleged Sexual Abuse of Minor

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A vice principal at Burley High School in south-central Idaho has been taken into custody on suspicion of sexually abusing a minor. The Times-News reports that 41-year-old Tara Leigh Bagley was arrested Friday by the Hurricane City Police near St. George, Utah.

The Cassia County Sheriff's Office in Idaho says Bagley faces seven counts of sexual abuse of a minor 16 to 17 years old. She's being held in the Mini-Cassia Criminal Justice Center on $250,000 bond. Police say the events for which Bagley faces charges occurred from July 2011 to December 2012 in Cassia County, but not on school property. A court date has not been set, and the case has been sealed.
