California Man Dies after Crash on East Idaho Interstate

POCATELLO, Idaho (KLIX)-A 45-year-old California man died following a three-vehicle crash on Tuesday south of Pocatello. According to Idaho State Police, the California man, of San Luis Obisbo, passed away a day later after being flown to an area hospital. The man had been driving a 2019 Volkswagen north on Interstate 15 when he struck a Toyota SUV driven by a 21-year-old from Rexburg, according to ISP. The Volkswagen then hit a Ford pickup driven by a 34-year-old male from Idaho Falls. The driver of the Toyota SUV was the only other person taken to the hospital. The crash blocked traffic for more than two hours.
