UPDATE: Blaine County Sheriff's Officials say a 21-year-old Wood River Valley woman is in critical condition after a two vehicle crash Wednesday morning. At around 9:20 a.m. Lindi D. Mattinson was headed south on Highway 75 just north of Hailey when she veered off the shoulder, overcorrected, then came back onto the highway into oncoming traffic. The sheriff says Mattinson's Honda Accord collided with a Ford F350 truck pulling a flatbed trailer with a piece of a equipment on it. The driver of the pickup was Eberto B. Zavala, age 47, of Hailey. The impact left part of the car lodged in the front end of the pickup. Zavala and Mattinson were both taken to St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center; Mattinson had to later be flown my helicopter to a Boise hospital, Zavala was later released with minor injuries. The crash blocked the highway until 12:30 p.m.

HAILEY, Idaho (KLIX) Law enforcement in the Wood River Valley say an accident has closed part of Highway 75 just north of Hailey. The Blaine County Sheriff's Office called the multiple vehicle accident "serious" and may have the road blocked off for some time. As of 10 a.m. traffic was being diverted northbound through the Valley Club with one lane going south on the highway. Idaho Transportation Department lists the crash between Zinc Spur Road and Ohio Gulch Road.
