CSI Dance Students to Perform Annual Production of ‘Thriller’
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Just a few days before Halloween you may see some things that, as Michael Jackson sang, may almost stop your heart. But don’t worry, they’re not real zombies. They’re dance students from the College of Southern Idaho.
The dance students will present their annual stage production of “Thriller” at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 27 in the CSI Fine Arts Auditorium.
Instructor Julie Wright-Leggett says the students have been studying dance legend Bob Fosse, said to be the inspiration for Michael Jackson’s choreography of his milestone “Thriller” video. The students have also made their own zombie outfits, according to information from the college.
The free show will begin with jazz and contemporary routines before the main performance’s zombies arrive on stage. Halloween candy will be provided after the show for all kids, who also may have their pictures taken with the performers.
