DECLO, Idaho (KLIX) – The temporary westbound on-ramp at the Declo interchange on Interstate 84 will be closed for road paving beginning Monday, June 13.

According to the Idaho Transportation Department, the first of two bridges that span the Snake River is almost complete and the contractor now needs to start paving the approaching roadway. The ramp will remain closed until the westbound bridge is open to the public later this summer.

Paving the permanent on-ramp and reconstructing a section of nearby interstate will take place sometime this summer.
