Do You Put Your Shopping Cart Back?

Going shopping?  Yesterday, I was looking for a parking space and started my turn and found a cart directly ahead of me.

Scientific American asked why so many people can’t return their carts.  It concluded, in some cases, people are getting soaked by rain or are in a hurry to make an appointment.  Others are struggling with children and fear taking their eyes off the kids.

But, there is a category of people who simply don’t care.  They believe someone else will pick up after them.  I suspect many of these same people are using EBT cards and believe they’re owed taxpayer funded healthcare.  The study didn’t look at these attitudes, but I’m sure it would’ve discovered more than a few past Obama voters.
