For me, it's the best 14 second segment of my day so far.

Gary Vaeth shared this video recently with no explanation or fanfare. It's simply called "Sawtooth Hike Idaho" and it's only 14 seconds long. But, in that brief span of time, you get to see some of the most iconic images in Idaho.

I have mentioned before that I grew up in Missouri. My uncle was a school teacher who also happened to be a colonel in the National Guard. He traveled a lot and loved mountains. I remember him telling me that of all the mountains he had seen in the west including Colorado, Montana, etc, his favorite range was the Sawtooth. When you see videos like this, you understand why.

Gary Vaeth, I have no idea who you are or why you took this video. But, I'm glad you shared this 14 seconds of your hike in what might be North America's most beautiful wilderness. For me, it's the best 14 second segment of my day so far.
