I had no idea this was a thing until a listener gave us a call and told us to Google images of chicken diapers. People keep their chickens inside I guess, and to prevent them from making a mess all over the house, people make chickens wear diapers.

I am not really sure why I am surprised by this. There is something for everything now a days and people really do love their pets. Keep the chicken from being outside in the cold by getting it a diaper that prevents all the bird poop from going everywhere.

Googling images of chicken diapers will give you pure joy. They look hysterical and fashionable. I am not sure how the chicken feels about it but they don't look like they are in distress and they don't have to be outside in the cold. I guess it is a win win situation for everyone.

I have also come across chicken sweaters and chicken leashes. Chicken accessories are apparently becoming a hot commodity. I have to know if anyone in Twin Falls loves their chickens enough to let them live in the house with a sweater and a diaper while not being too busy to put them on a leash and take them for a walk.

I may not understand some people's affinity for chickens. I am more of a dog person myself, but I don't judge. Whatever makes you happy. Just looking at photos of a chicken in a diaper makes me happy. I can only imagine the joy I would feel seeing one in real life.
