TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) It will be a little while longer before people can access parts of the South Hills in the Magic Valley because it is still too wet. Sawtooth National Forest officials say in a statement that the Minidoka Ranger District will push back road and motorized trail restrictions to May 26 or until officials decide conditions are better. Officials say it is to protect the road infrastructure and the public's health and safety. More snow than usual continues to cover many areas of the popular recreation area in southern Idaho. Forest officials have provided more information on current conditions and closures at this website.
