“Downtown Alive” is not a new singing group but rather the name of a new organization that is designed to revitalize downtown Twin Falls.  The formation of “Downtown Alive” was announced by Mark Rivers who was hired by the Twin Falls Urban Renewal Agency as a consultant.  The new organization will be co-chaired by Tom Ashenbrener, owner of Rudy’s – A Cook’s Paradise, and Twin Falls attorney Jeff Hepworth.  Rivers says the new group will share ideas, coordinate community outreach, and advocate on urban issues for the downtown area.  The organization will not accept public money nor will it assess businesses or property owners to be a part of the group.  The main goal of “Downtown Alive” will be the revitalization of the downtown Twin Falls area.
