Have You Started Your Christmas Shopping Yet?

It seems that a lot of people are saying that Christmas is overtaking Thanksgiving. Christmas music, decorations, and shopping should wait until after Thanksgiving. Why then is it that statistically November 15th is when the average person starts their Christmas shopping?

I am a fan of Christmas preparations starting early. I can listen to the music anytime after Halloween and I am especially a fan of getting the decorations up outside early rather than after the ice and cold has arrived!

I'm not a big shopper though. In fact, I tend to procrastinate far too much as far as buying gifts goes, so I'm not an authority nor average on the subject. What about you? HAve you started the Christmas present shopping yet?
