Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott Welcomes Baby Girl
It's a girl for Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum.
The singer and husband Chris Tyrrell welcomed Eisele Kaye Tyrrell on Monday (July 22) in Nashville. Her name is in honor of both grandmothers.
Scott made the announcement on her Twitter page shortly before 3PM ET. "She's here," she wrote, "and we are in HEAVEN!!! Eisele Kaye, our beautiful angel, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!"
The name is pronounced "eyes-lee" and is a combination of Tyrrell's mother's maiden name and Scott's mother's middle name (Kaye). The new father told People through a representative that the 7-pound, 13-ounce bundle of joy is "incredibly gorgeous."
It's the first baby for the couple, who were married in January 2012. Fans have been leaving words of support and congratulations at the trio's Facebook page. Lady Antebellum is expected to take the remainder of the summer off before beginning to tour again this fall.
