Idaho State Police Seek Witnesses of Crash Near Meridain Monday Morning
MERIDIAN, Idaho (KLIX)-Authorities are looking for witnesses of a crash early Monday morning along Interstate 84 in Meridian that sent two people to the hospital.
According to Idaho State Police, two people from Nampa were hospitalized at St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center at around 6:15 a.m. when their Kia Sorento collided with a Subaru Impreza near the Eagle Road exit. The driver of the Kia is identified as Scott Richey, 44, and passenger Tiffany Richey, 41, while the driver of the Subaru is identified as Cody McDaniel, 26, of Parma.
ISP said McDaniel was headed westbound as was Richey when the cars collided. The Kia hit the median barrier and the Subaru stopped in the far right lane. Everyone had been wearing a seat belt.
