Idaho’s Board of Health and Welfare to Meet Thursday
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) – Issues relating to Idaho’s public health will be discussed by the Idaho Board of Health and Welfare at a meeting scheduled for Thursday in Boise.
Items to be discussed include proposed rule changes for emergency medical services licensing requirements, reportable diseases, food safety and sanitation standards, certified family homes, criminal history and background checks, and issues relating to child and family services.

The eight-hour meeting starts at 8 a.m. on the 10th floor conference room of the Pete T. Cenarrusa Building, 450 W. State St., Boise. A 15-minute public comment period will begin at 8:05 a.m., and there will be time for the nomination of chairman and vice chairman.
