Longtime Business in the Magic Valley Closing Their Doors in 2025

Twin Falls is rapidly growing and more and more businesses are moving in daily, weekly, and monthly it seems. While the town has evolved and added a plethora of new shopping places, restaurants, eating options, and companies recently, many places have been around for decades and have been the backbone of the Magic Valley. Often, these new places move in and close within a couple of years because they don't receive the support they need, but there are a few places that have had loyal customers and been around longer than most residents in the area. Sadly, one business that has been in the Magic Valley for decades is closing this year, and many residents are devastated by their closure.

Quale's Closing in Twin Falls

It has been common to see many places come and go through the last few years but some places have called Twin Falls homes for as long as many can remember. Some places are iconic and stick out like Depot Grill or The Turf Club, while others don't have the big signs and aren't as noticeable but are consistent and loved by residents in the area. One place that has been a part of the community for decades is Quale's Electronics, and sadly after many years they will be closing their doors this summer, but before you get too sad, it might not be what you think that is causing them to do so. 

Why Is Quale's in Twin Falls Closing?

Quale's Electronics is currently located at 1730 Kimberly Road and has been there since 1976. Originally located in downtown Twin Falls and having been opened since 1966, the electronic company has been a staple in Twin Falls for multiple generations. Earlier this year they announced they would be closing their doors this summer after nearly 60 years. No, they are not closing due to lack of business or funds, but because the owners have decided to retire and do some traveling and enjoy life away from work. While many will be sad to hear they are closed, it is good news for Quale's owners. The good news is that while the electronic store will be closed they will still be responding to Dish and service calls moving forward. The final day of business will be at the end of this month on June 30.
