Nasty Disease Spreading Through Utah Has Many Praying for Death
Feeling ill is never ideal, and can ruin someone's day in a hurry. While faking sickness from time to time is nice to get out of work, school, or sleep in, getting sick for real is less fun. Some illnesses aren't so bad. Staying home with a cold, while irritating isn't awful, staying home with a fever, but not many other symptoms can be ok, but staying home while stuck in bed or the bathroom is the worst. There is one nasty disease going around Utah right now that has many stuck around the toilet or on it, and it has many praying for it to end, and contemplating death, instead of suffering through it.
Stomach Illness Spreading in Utah
Stomach issues are not something many enjoy, especially when they cause you to sprint to the nearest restroom, sink, trash can, or to go outside. The stomach bug going around right now is aggressive and is hitting families, coworkers, and friends hard. It affects everybody differently, as some will be throwing up, and others will have it coming out of the other end. In rare occurrences, you may have both, but in most cases only have one or the other. It is consistent, making it hard to get anything done until it ends.
Symptoms for Stomach Illness in Utah
It starts with a stomach ache, and feeling like you ate something bad, but will quickly escalate. The good news is that the time in the restroom will only last around 24 to 48 hours, but the bad news is that it won't stop and will be a miserable day or two. There will be significant weight loss in a short amount of time, nausea afterward, and perhaps dehydration. Sadly, none of the medicines or techniques you know to settle stomach issues will work. It is an illness you will have to suffer through until it passes.
It will be a tough day or two, so it is best to clear your schedule if you do get the stomach bug that is going around. In some extreme cases, it has put some in the emergency room, but it will pass soon. Tell your coworkers, friends, and family members if you get it, because they likely won't be far behind you, as it is highly contagious. Do what you can to avoid it, but if you do get the stomach bug, it might have you wishing for death at points during a tough day.
