What Would You Do? Christmas Lights in the Magic Valley
What would you do? What would you do if your neighbor's Christmas lights and decorations trumped yours and made your display look weak? Would you go out and buy more lights and decorations and try to make your place look a little more festive? Would you take yours down and not have any out next to their wonderful display? Would you leave it and be happy with what you have and accept that your neighbor is one of those types of people when it comes to Christmas decorating? Some go all out when it comes to decorating their home, while others keep it more civil and casual, but if you live next to one of those big displays, what should you do?
Christmas Lights in the Magic Valley
Not everyone decorates for Christmas, but for many, they look forward to putting up their Christmas lights each year, buying a tree, and putting on ornaments. Some will get some outdoor decorations to show off their holiday spirit, and then there are Christmas fanatics who go all out. You may think you have a nice display, but compared to the fanatics, it isn't even a competition. These people have lights around every pole, tree, bush, and decoration to wow the neighborhood. Sadly, someone has to draw the short straw and live next to these homes, and it can be intimidating and tough. If you try to decorate and only have a few lights, your house looks sad, and if you try to compete, things could get interesting.
Amazing Christmas Displays in Idaho
For some, the pressure of trying to compete with a home like this might be too much, and force you to put your lights away and not even attempt to decorate. For others, it doesn't matter as they enjoy the holiday season and will put up as much or as little as they have. Sometimes, living next to someone who decorates can inspire a neighbor to put some lights up that they may not have done so in the past, to keep the holiday spirit going down the street. Despite having a neighbor with such a great light display, it means others will see your home as well, which is why you shouldn't shy away from decorating, no matter what.

If you have a neighbor who goes all out, don't let them get you down, and instead feed off of their holiday energy and spread more cheer down the road, and hopefully, the whole street will be lit up this holiday season. If you had a neighbor who went all out on Christmas lights, what would you do?
