The majority of southern Idahoans I know fly out of Boise when they go on vacation, visit relatives, or need to travel for business. Twin Falls also has an airport, but it's much more costly and offers way fewer connections to U.S. cities.

I've lived in southern Idaho for years, and I've never flown anywhere out of the Magic Valley Regional Airport in Twin Falls. The airport recently added new Delta Airlines direct flights to its weekly schedule, but these types of announcements and few and far between.

The majority of flights leaving MVRA head directly to Salt Lake City no matter where the final destination is, which is the reason I fly out of Boise. I'm not a huge fan of layovers and try to avoid them at all costs.

I would pay extra if the airport offered more direct flights to eastern locations. Some cities I'd like to visit from Twin Falls for the first time include New Orleans, Austin, Savannah, and Boston. Direct flights to Hawaii would also be a very welcomed addition to the Magic Valley Regional Airport itinerary.

I will say that I've heard great things about the Twin Falls Airport from people who have used it for travel. For a schedule of flights out of Joslin Field, click here.

Would you fly more out of Twin Falls and pay a little extra cash if Joslin Field offered more direct flights to popular vacation destinations in the country?
