Southern Idaho is going to get a healthy dose of hairy chest and tongue this September. KISS has announced a stop in Boise during the band's 2020 world tour.Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and company are headed to Boise next year. The date was recently added to the band's official website. KISS has announced two farewell tours in the past 19 years, and keep heading back out. Their 2020 tour has been talked about by band members as being the last major world tour they will embark on.

KISS achieved massive world popularity a few years after forming in New York in the mid-seventies. The band's first, self-titled album, was released in February of 1974, and included songs such as, "Strutter," and "Deuce." It would be the first of 20 studio albums released from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame group.

The band's 1975 album, "Dressed To Kill," included KISS' biggest hit to date. The song, "Rock and Roll All Night," was a top 70 hit in the United States. It eventually climbed to #12 on the U.S. rock charts after a live version was released later in the same year. KISS already achieved a handful of top 20 hits prior to the eighties decade.

It's not expected that founding guitarist Ace Frehley, or original drummer Peter Criss, will be part of the tour. They were replaced years ago by current band members Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer.

Following a September 20, 2020, performance in Ridgefiled, Washington, the band will stop at the ExtraMile Arena, in Boise, on September 22, 2020. Tickets prices and other details are available on the KISS official website.
