The Mini-Cassia Criminal Justice Center will need some upgrading if it’s to comply with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.  The Times-News reports this morning that an inspection last month revealed several problems at the facility.

Violations include key and lock control, suicide prevention measures, problems with the facilities fire plan, and proper disposal of biohazardus waste. Jail officials will put together a plan to correct the issues and then put it into action within 90 days.
