RUPERT, Idaho (AP) — A southern Idaho prosecutor has resigned after being charged with drunken driving. The Time-News reports that Minidoka County Deputy Prosecutor Alan Goodman resigned Wednesday after being pulled over in Rupert for failing to signal before making a turn on Monday.

Goodman will be arraigned Feb. 4 in Minidoka County Magistrate Court. A special prosecutor will be appointed to the case, as will a new judge as Judge Rick Bollar disqualified himself from the case.
