Southwestern Idaho Republican leaders soundly rejected a measure that sought an investigationinto the circumstances of Sen. John McGee drunken driving arrest in June. The Canyon County Republican Central Committee on Tuesday rejected 22-10 a resolution from McGee critic Ronalee Linsenmann that called for a probe of his "drunken actions."  Linsenmann has been critical of McGee, saying his arrest hurt Republicans' image.  But a separate motion to support McGee - and accept his apology - passed 23-6.  The Caldwell Republican was arrested on June 19.  He pleaded guilty to the drunken driving charge in exchange for having the felony count of taking a vehicle that didn't belong to

him dropped.
