This is a fun one since the worst city isn't in the Magic Valley.

That doesn't mean we don't have bad cities down here, but according to 24/7 Wall St. the worst city in Idaho is Nampa because it is so close to Boise and that's like being touched by a girl with cooties. I made the last part up, but they really did choose Nampa.

Why is Nampa the Worst City in Idaho?

I don't know much about Nampa, but I do know that I hear more people make fun of Arco, Chubbuck, and Burley in Idaho. Usually I hear good things about Nampa.

The methodology of 24/7 Wall St. is interesting, Nampa got low marks for being relatively dangerous and for being more poor than the rest of the state. Hmm, I didn't know that. I also don't think that how much money the average person makes determines how good of a place it is to live especially since it is only about $7k lower than the state average, but that's how they got their final decision.

I also have a problem with their list of all the other states. For almost every 'worst city' listed they used a beautiful picture but for Nampa, Idaho they show a flooded field and an old building. What the heck 24/7 Wall St.?

Here's a little bit of good news for Nampa though, in another list of the worst places they came in 9th place instead of first. The bad news for Nampa, they still made the list of the worst cities in Idaho and Chubbuck didn't.
