Former Idaho gubernatorial candidate Rex Rammell has been cited for hunting despite losing his hunting privileges for two years after a July conviction for unlawfully killing an elk. The Lewiston Tribune reports Rammell was cited for purchasing a hunting tag, permit or license while his regular hunting license had been revoked. He also was cited for purchasing an elk tag and hunting while his privileges were revoked. Rammell is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 25 to answer the Idaho Department of Fish and Game violations. The citations were issued about the same time Rammell was arrested for misdemeanor battery for allegedly grabbing another man by the neck during an altercation on Sept. 8th. Idaho County Deputy Prosecutor Adam Green says a settlement agreement is being negotiated.
