TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-The Southern Idaho Economic Development (SIED) organization has hired a familiar face to serve as the interim executive director. SIED announced Thursday the appointment of Jan Roger to hold the position until a permanent replacement can be found. Rogers was the founding executive director of SIED in 2001 and held the position for 15 years. “Southern Idaho Economic Development is excited to welcome Jan Rogers as our interim director,” said Dan Olmstead, SIED board chair in a prepared statement. “Jan's broad economic development experience, regional relationships, and her 15-year previous history with SIED will serve our economic development efforts in the region very well,” he said. Rogers has worked with area business leaders, city and county governments, and will continue the organization's goal of attracting business to the area.
