Here's a story that is sure to make you itch. There is a new type of super lice that is making its way westward and it's now getting closer to Idaho with cases now being reported in Washington state and California.

The New York Post and the American Chemical Society are reporting that this lice is referred to as 'super' due to its resistance to the normal types of treatment.

How do you avoid this type of lice? Like any other, apparently. According to the Lice Squad - yes, there really is a lice squad - keeping hair in a ponytail and/or using hair spray can help. Plus, there is a tea tree oil that can be added to shampoo.

As of now, it would appear wise not to borrow the comb of any of your friends from Washington state that might be visiting. That's probably good advice all the time.
