The City of Twin Falls is having to add additional barriers and signage along the Canyon Rim Trail because too many people are trying to drive their vehicles onto the trail.
The Canyon Rim Ruck Walk is tomorrow, Saturday, October 23rd starting at 7 am. The sign in time is 6:30 and the event will go on rain or shine. The purpose behind the walk is to raise money for select charities to support veterans and their families.
I absolutely love our Canyon Rim Trail. It is beautiful, a great walk or run and something fun to do outside in the sun. The views make everything worth it. While you are out there these are the people you will always run across. Which one are you?
I absolutely love dogs and walking my pets. However, I also like to frequent the Canyon Rim Trail as a walker or jogger. I still can't ride a bike, but I know people who like to ride their bikes as well. For anyone walking their dog, please be mindful of these things.
More than a mile long section of new Canyon Rim Trail system is set to open to the public Friday in Twin Falls. According to City Spokesperson Josh Palmer, the walking and biking public will be able to go past the Evel Knievel jump site to the west to access the new 1.6 mile connector trail.
