Idaho's governor signed a new executive order forcing health districts and healthcare providers to report how the COVID-19 vaccine is being distributed to make sure it is being distributed in a timely manner.
Gov. Brad Little pleaded with Idaho lawmakers to not end the emergency declaration enacted nearly a year ago to deal with the COVID-19 outbreak at such a pivotal time as the vaccine is being distributed.
Gov. Brad Little says Idaho must remain in Stage-2 COVID-19 restrictions while asking citizens to take on the personal responsibility to help slow the spread of the virus before the state reaches a point where hospitals begin turning patients away.
During a press conference at the office of the health district that serves the Treasure Valley Gov. Brad Little announced Idaho will remain in Stage Four as several areas in the state has seen increases in confirmed COVID-19 cases.
