Idaho State Police said it was at the scene of an injury crash a little before 6 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 200 North and U.S. Highway 93 in Jerome County.
Crews responded to the scene of a crash that blocked traffic in the southbound lanes U.S. Highway 93 near the Flying J in Jerome, according to Idaho State Police on Thursday.
A public hearing is scheduled for next week in Twin Falls related to an application to allow trucks weighing up to 129,000 pounds on a section of U.S. Highway 93.
Additional public hearings are scheduled for October for those who wish to comment on allowing heavy trucks on sections of state and U.S. highways in the Magic and Wood River valleys.
The public is invited to a public meeting to view and comment on design plans for the widening and realignment of U.S. Highway 93 near Idaho Highway 25 – “another project to improve the corridor,” according to the Idaho Transportation Department.
