TF City Council To Discuss Downtown Parking

The special task force set up by the Twin Falls City Council to  study parking in the downtown area has made several recommendations and the City Council will consider those tonight. 

The task force is recommending the city remove downtown parking meters and stop leasing individual spaces.  It’s also recommended placing time limits on some of the parking spaces closest to the businesses.  There have been several studies in the past that recommended everything from keeping things the same to taking out all the meters. This current task force has been working on the issue for several months.
