When you walk into the Wilson Theater in Rupert, Idaho, it's hard not to feel like you've been transported back to the roaring 20's. So much of the original architecture is still in place and even the renovated parts have been updated in such a way that you still get that 1920's feel.

The theater was originally constructed back in 1919 and 1920 with the official opening on August 26, 1920. The grand opening had an attendance of over 700, which back in those days was crazy.

Now, the Wilson Theater features state-of-the-art sound and lighting, but the cool thing is it retains it's classic feel.

There's a reason the Wilson Theater is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We took plenty of pics during our visit for you to check out. But, the best way to experience the Wilson is to go there. You can keep up with the latest info on their website.
