UPDATE 12:10 - Police have closed nearby roads. Twin Falls Public Information officer Josh Palmer said that Murtaugh South to Murtaugh Avenue near the stockyards will be closed for some time while officials investigate the accident. The intersection of Kimberly Road and Blue Lakes South will be closed for a short amount of time while the train cars blocking that area are moved. Also, it's been reported that Minidoka avenue at Blue Lakes is also closed.

 

UPDATE 12:00 - A reporter on the scene was able to get some information from officers. They say the semi stalled on the train tracks. As the train approached the semi truck driver jumped out of the semi. The train was going slow and no one was injured in the wreck. Officials say the semi is in bad shape but not totaled.

 

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KTWT-TV ) - Authorities are investigating the report of a Train vs a Semi Truck accident near the Twin Falls Livestock commission Company. The accident was reported around 11:40 this morning at 630 Commercial Avenue. At this time, there have been no reported injuries. Some nearby roads are reportedly being closed. We have a news crew on scene and will have the latest on this developing story as information becomes available.
