A historic locomotive is making its way to Ely to live in the Nevada Northern Railway Museum. It started the journey on November 6th in Snoqualmie, Washington. The trip is 847 miles and not a quick one but it is a historic one.
I was really trying to see the appeal of train tracks as a photo site so I drove around town near the Depot Grill and further down the tracks by Thursdays. I get it now.
A Pocatello man made it out of his pickup before a train struck it and pushed it several hundred feet down the tracks near Lava Hot Springs Thursday night.
