Truck Takes Out Interstate Signs, Topples Over West of Burley
BURLEY, Idaho (KLIX) A truck toppled onto its side blocking an exit off of Interstate 84 just west of Burley Monday night. Charles O. Williams, age 68, of Charleston, Missouri, was driving a newer Volvo semitrailer at a little after 10 a.m. when he drove onto the shoulder, hit a road sign, over corrected, then hit the exit sign while coming back onto the roadway, according to Idaho State Police. The truck toppled onto its side and hit a guardrail. Williams was wearing a seat belt and taken to the Minidoka Memorial Hospital. The truck blocked the eastbound Kasota Road exit for a little more than an hour.
