Twin Falls Sheriff to Host Women’s Self-Defense Class this Summer
TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Women of the Magic Valley will get a chance to learn self-defense techniques later this summer thanks to the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office. Instructor Corporal Dana Scott will show students how to defend against common holds, maximize damage and the most effective body parts to hit. The class is open to ages 14 and up, however minors 14-17 will need to have an adult with them. You will get physical so wear comfy clothing. The class is scheduled for August 20, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Canyon Ridge High School. Space is limited so call as soon as you can 736-4179.
