Wells Fargo Boosts Idaho Job Market
A little bit of good news for the job market in Idaho. Wells Fargo plans to fill about 175 new positions in Idaho. Most of the full-time jobs are based in the state's capital city. But some will be available in other parts of the state. In a statement Thursday, spokeswoman Amy McDevitt says about 150 employees will be hired during July and August to work at a customer service center in Boise. Another 25 teller and banking positions will be filled across Idaho. Wells Fargo now employs about 2,200 people in the state. While state officials are saying the number being hired is not huge it is at least a step in the right direction.
