Parts of the Magic Valley are under an Air Stagnation Advisory until this afternoon. According to the U.S. National Weather Service in Boise the advisory includes the western part of the Magic Valley from the Twin Falls/Jerome area as stagnant air and light winds may cause buildup of pollutants near the surface.

The advisory includes this notice:

If possible, reduce or eliminate activities that contribute to
air pollution, such as outdoor burning, and the use of
residential wood burning devices. Reduce vehicle trips and
vehicle idling as much as possible. Check with local agencies
for possible restrictions in your area.

The advisory is in effect until 5 p.m this afternoon. The advisory extends to the west towards the Treasure Valley and Oregon state line.
