As a kid, writing my letter to Santa Clause was a cherished event. Each year I would sit at the kitchen table with mom and dad, and using my best penmanship (this was before computers), I would write to Santa about how good I've been, how excited I was for Christmas, and what I would like this year. It was great!

Continue that tradition, and this year help the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Macy's and the Make-A-Wish Foundation have teamed up to raise funds and get your kids' letters to Santa Claus. They've created a website featuring an animated Virginia that will help you write your letter, and even give you custom stationary to download.

Here's how it works: Have your kids write a letter to Santa Claus and then take it to Macy's in the Magic Valley Mall. Drop your letters to Santa into the letterbox and for each one collected Macy's will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. That's it!

Not only will your kids' letters be delivered to Santa at the North Pole, but you're helping an amazing organization. Since 1980, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has given hope, strength and joy to children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Make writing a letter to Santa Claus a part of your holiday tradition, and help Macy's reach "A Million Reasons To Believe!"
