Avalanche Closes Highway 20 Between Mountain Home and Fairfield

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) Travel on Highway 20 between Mountain Home and Fairfield is closed because of a reported avalanche. According to Idaho's 511.Idaho.gov, the road 18 miles east of Mountain Home has been blocked by an avalanche reported before 9 a.m. Roads across southern Idaho are snow covered according to the highway information website. Motorists have been asked by Idaho State Police to use caution and slow down.
