Blake Shelton has announced an extension of his tour dates and one of those stops is going to be in Salt Lake City. Sure it isn't Boise, but it is worth the trip.

Blake Shelton extended the Friends and Heroes Tour through March of next year. I know I am a little bitter still that he cut our girl EllieMae from his team on The Voice, but I think I can forgive him quickly enough to go see him in concert.

The show is in Salt Lake City on February 27th. Other somewhat close tour stops are Spokane and Tacoma, Washington and Portland, Oregon. If you are a hardcore fan that has to see him but for some reason can't make it to Salt Lake City those might be last-minute options for you.

Special guests on the tour will be Lauren Alaina, The Bellamy Brothers, John Anderson and Trace Adkins. I would go just to see Trace Adkins again. If you have the chance to see him a couple of years ago at the Twin Falls County Fair you know Trace Adkins can put on quite the show.

Blake made the announcement it total Blake fashion, with a video. Tickets for the shows officially go on sale on Friday, October 25th. If you sign up for his mailing list you can also get a pre-sale code that allows early access tickets on Monday, October 21st.

With Blake Shelton's new song with Trace Adkins "Hell Right" I would expect the duo to perform a couple of shows.
