Candidate Files Tort Claim Against Twin Falls Co. Prosecutor

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — An opponent running against the Twin Falls County prosecutor has filed a $10 million tort claim.

The Times-News reports that Mark Guerry filed the tort claim on Friday. Guerry says incumbent Grant Loebs has violated his First and 14th Amendment rights. Guerry is also accusing Loebs of breaking federal laws and using the media to incite bias and distrust.

Loebs said in a statement that Guerry's claims are frivolous. Meanwhile, Guerry did not return requests for comments. He has previously said that he is no longer speaking to the media.
