Car Hits Nine Vehicles on I-84, Two People Hospitalized in Boise
BOISE, Idaho (KLIX)-Idaho State Police is investigating after a car hit nine other cars in a multi-vehicle crash that backed up traffic on the interstate in the Treasure Valley Thursday afternoon.
Brigham Anderson, 19, of Meridain, was driving a 2007 Toyota Camry on Interstate 84 near the Maple Grove Underpass when he left the lane he was traveling in and hit the other vehicles. Anderson was taken to St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Meridian, while the driver of one of the vehicles hit, Sharon Bisgaard, 72, of Eagle, was taken to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise; they were the only people taken to the hospital and all drivers were wearing seat belts.
The roadway had been completely blocked for about 17 minutes while crews cleared the scene and Idaho State Police investigated.
