Cassia County Declares State of Emergency Amid Flooding
BURLEY, Idaho (KLIX) Cassia County Commissioners declared a state of emergency Wednesday as wide flooding took over the Mini-Cassia area. Melting snow and rain has caused significant flooding across the county and in several towns, including Burley. The declaration states that area water channels are not able to handle the amount of damaging water. The emergency declaration allows the county to access funds more easily in respond to the situation.
