The program will feature Dr. Del Parkinson, professor of piano at Boise State University, an accomplished musician and recording artist. After discussing the significance of each piece, Parkinson will perform musical selections from Bernstein, Gershwin and Liszt.

“Love has fascinated, motivated, and dazzled human beings for centuries,” Parkinson said in a prepared statement. “These pieces aspire to express the inexpressible!”
