Crash on Highway Near Kimberly Sends Juvenile to the Hospital
KIMBERLY, Idaho (KLIX)-A juvenile driver was sent to the hospital Thursday evening after a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 30 in Kimberly.
According to Idaho State Police, a juvenile driving a Jeep Patriot had stopped at the stop sign on N 3400 E and Highway 30 at around 5:40 p.m., then pulled out onto the highway and struck a Toyota Sienna that did not have its lights on also driven by a juvenile; ISP said the time of sunset was at 5:09 p.m. The driver of the Jeep was taken to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center.
Twin Falls County Sheriff's Office and the Rock Creek Fire Department also responded to the crash and assisted ISP. The roadway was blocked for more than an hour while crews cleared the scene. ISP said everyone involved had been wearing a seat belt.
